The previously announced new entry in the King of Prism franchise is an anime film titled King of Prism -Your Endless Call- Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours, which is scheduled to release theatrically in Japan on June 27, 2025.
The new Prism☆Tours film will follow the seven members of the idol group SEPTENTRION, who travel back in time to learn the origin of the Prism Shows. The voice cast in the previous King of Prism anime are reprising their roles for the film.
A new teaser visual and trailer for the anime film have also been released, which showcases the “big three” idols in the series and teases a crossover with previous Pretty Series installments.

The characters highlighted in the visual include Jin Norizuki, Hijiri Himuro, and Rei Kurokawa, who will be voiced by Shinichiro Miki, Toshihiko Seki, and Showtaro Morikubo respectively, and are all reprising their previous roles in the franchise. Three separate solo visuals of the characters were also released.

Masakazu Hishida (previous King of Prism anime) returns to work on the new film as chief director and is also writing the script under the pen name Jou Aoba (King of Prism series screenwriter and scriptwriter). Other staff includes Mai Matsuura (King of Prism by Pretty Rhythm, King of Prism Pride the Hero, King of Prism original character designer) and Yoshihiro Otobe (King of Prism series) as CG director. Tatsunoko Productions is once again in charge of the animation production.
Shoji Hara (King of Prism -Shiny Seven Stars), Hisashi Kawashima (Wake Up, Girls!: The Movie animation director), Rie Saitou (Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future character designer), Hajime Mitsuda (Kiratto Pri☆Chan season 1-3 character designer), and Sayaka Toda (Waccha PriMagi! character designer)) are credited as guest character designers for the film.
The recent King of Prism: Dramatic Prism.1 film premiered in Japanese theaters on August 16, 2024. It is the latest entry in the King of Prism series after the 2020 compilation film King of Prism All Stars: Prism Show Best 10, which features the top 10 fan-voted Prism Shows. The King of Prism franchise is a spin-off of the Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live mixed-media project, and is part of the larger Pretty Rhythm and Pretty Series franchise.

The first King of Prism anime was 2016’s King of Prism by Pretty Rhythm, which was followed by 2017’s King of Prism Pride the Hero and 2019’s King of Prism -Shiny Seven Stars.
In addition to the anime, the King of Prism series has also inspired several manga, novels, stage plays, and a now-defunct mobile game. A browser game titled King of Prism: Sparking was recently launched on G123.
