Two more new voice cast members are joining the ongoing SAKAMOTO DAYS TV anime series. The anime’s first cour, containing 11 episodes, premiered in Japan on January 11, 2025, while the second cour will air in July 2025.
The new cast includes Kazuyuki Okitsu as Kashima and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Natsuki Seba.
Additionally, a preview video for the anime’s seventh episode was also released.
Masaki Watanabe (Bakumatsu, Battle Spirits: Mirage) is directing the anime series, with Taku Kishimoto (Blue Lock) as series screenwriter, Yo Moriyama (Megalo Box director and co-sub character designer et al.) as character designer, and Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia) as music composer. TMS Entertainment is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

Netflix is streaming the anime series worldwide on a weekly release schedule.
The anime is based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, which began in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on November 21, 2020 and has released 20 tankobon volumes as of January 2025. A 21st volume will be published on March 4, 2025.
VIZ Media releases the SAKAMOTO DAYS manga series in English, describing the main synopsis of the series as:
Taro Sakamoto was once a legendary hit man considered the greatest of all time. Bad guys feared him! Assassins revered him! But then one day he quit, got married, and had a baby. He’s now living the quiet life as the owner of a neighborhood store, but how long can Sakamoto enjoy his days of retirement before his past catches up to him?!
