Tokyopop has announced that it has licensed three new Boys’ Love titles set for release under its LoveLove imprint throughout Spring 2025. The new releases consist of two manga series and a light novel.
Here are the details for Tokyopop’s new BL licenses:
WHITE LIAR
Story and Art: Tomo Serizawa
The BL manga will be available starting February 11, 2025. Serizawa is known for such titles as Snow Fairy, Scarlet Secret, Color Collection, and Grapefruit Moon.
Synopsis:
Shiraishi Kei is a talented freelance beautician who’s experienced more downs than ups when it comes to past relationships and so has decided to swear off love. However, when the mysterious up-and-coming actor Taiga Jinnouchi enters his life, their casual one-night stand turns into much more. Unbeknownst to Kei, Taiga has been harboring a secret for years — something that changes the meaning behind “fooling around” as the line between lies and sincerity are blurred in this whirlwind showbiz love story!
TOUCH WITHIN THE ABYSS
Story and Art: Moyori Mori
The BL manga will be available starting March 25, 2025 and is Mori’s debut work. The title won the Denrakuten Kobo e-book Award in 2023 and Comicomi of the Year in 2022. It also placed fourth in the BL Award 2023 BEST Next Category.
Synopsis:
Hitman Chinatsu once failed to pull the trigger on his target, and it cost him his brother’s life. That day, the sole witness who took Chinatsu’s trembling hand had clear eyes that stared right through him… straight into the abyss within.

The light novel will be available starting March 25, 2025. Nagira has won numerous awards, including the grand prize in the 17th Bookstore Awards and seventh place in the 17th Kinobesu! awards for The Wandering Moon, and the grand prize in both the 20th Bookstore Awards and the 10th Naoki High School Student Awards for Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku.
Synopsis:
Even from a young age Hira was an introvert, too nervous to speak up, disappearing into the crowd at his high school. From afar he admires his classmate, Kiyoi, ruling as the king of the class with his handsome looks and his aloof attitude. To him, everyone is equally worthless.
