Mainichi Adachi Mitsuru, a 408-page book that commemorates Touch and MIX mangaka Mitsuru Adachi‘s 55 years in the industry, has been released in Japan. It launched on February 12 JST.

The Shogakukan-published title features famous scenes from Adachi’s works as selected by Takenori Ichihara (former editor-in-chief of Shonen Sunday and Gessan) and Hiroyuki Moriyama (president of publishing company Stand Books). There are 366 pages of these scenes to match the days of a year, and they are broadly divided into “Spring,” “Summer,” “Fall,” and “Winter” (with further month-based categorization).

These pages also have a personal column featuring thoughts from Ichihara and Moriyama, as well as old Adachi comments that were originally posted in a magazine’s table of contents. In line with the seasonal theme of Mainichi Adachi Mitsuru‘s organization, the “season” that Adachi’s words appear in is based on their respective dates of publication.

Among the book’s other features are new illustrations (including the cover art) and a new comic essay from Adachi.

Mainichi Adachi MItsuru is priced at 2,200 yen (~US$14.33) including tax.
