Kocha Agasawa‘s The Ramparts of Ice (Koori no Jouheki) web manga is getting adapted into an anime.
A celebratory illustration from Agasawa was released.
In The Ramparts of Ice, Koyuki Hikawa is a high schooler who inadvertently puts up a wall between herself and others due to being bad at interacting with people. She then meets Minato Amamiya, who vigorously closes the distance between them; Miki Azumi, a popular figure at school; and Yota Hino, a student with a relaxed and pleasant air.
The Ramparts of Ice was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022 via LINE Manga. Shueisha publishes the tankoubon volumes under the Jump Comics label, with the first volume being released in July 2023. The 14th and final volume will be out on February 4, 2025 JST.
