hololive’s Hoshimachi Suisei has released “Shinsei Mokuroku,” her latest studio album following “Still Still Stellar” (2021) and “Specter” (2023). The album, released under COVER Corporation’s in-house label, is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
The album was originally announced alongside her upcoming “SuperNova” live concert on February 1.
Included in the album is her single “BIBBIDIBA” — released in March 2024 — which has since amassed 115 million views on YouTube.
Other songs already familiar to fans include “XION,” “AWAKE,” and “Venus Bug.” The track “DEADPOOL” also features KAF, a Japanese VSinger currently signed with KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO.
As part of its promotion of the album on its streaming service, Apple Music Japan uploaded a special video message from Suisei inviting fans to listen to her new album.
Spotify Japan promoted “Shinsei Mokuroku” by featuring the album in a slew of advertisements hosted at One Times Square.
Joining hololive in May 2019, Suisei has expanded her discography with popular singles such as “Stellar Stellar,” “Ghost,” “NEXT COLOR PLANET,” and “Syakunetsu nite Junjō (Wii-Wii-Woo).” She also has extended playlist (EP) releases such as “Bluerose / Comet” and “Template / Wicked” featuring hololive English’s Mori Calliope.
Suisei has also teamed up with Taku Inoue for the duo’s music project, Midnight Grand Orchestra — their single, Allegro, receiving a music video animated by WIT Studio and directed by Yuki Kamiya (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man).
