The upcoming original anime Miru: Paths to My Future will feature the V.W.P (-Virtual Witch Phenomenon-) virtual singer unit as its opening theme song artist.

The theme song is titled “AI=UTA.” A promotional video that includes a preview of it will be released in the near future.

Miru: Paths to My Future is set to premiere in Japan in April. The premise of the sci-fi anime is described as:

A Story of Encounters between Humanity and a Robot. Born in a distant future, MIRU, a weaponless robot, travels across time to support people from different eras. “MIRU” encounters individuals from different times and places, people who, despite their struggles, live their lives with determination. Through their encounters with MIRU, people take small yet meaningful steps forward. These steps, like the “Butterfly Effect,” create waves of change, becoming steps toward a brighter future. “The future is in our hands.” A story that reminds us of the power in every small beginning.

Miru: Paths to My Future is created by Yanmar Holdings, a Japanese manufacturer of agricultural machinery, industrial engines, and other equipment. Masuo Ueda (producer on shows like Mobile Suit Victory Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing) is credited as executive producer. The company Skyfall, which Ueda is CEO of, has a production support credit.

The show will have five episodes and an “omnibus” format.
