VoiSona — a vocal synthesizer software akin to Vocaloid — is releasing a version in the likeness of VTuber and illustrator Shigure Ui. Aptly named “VoiSona Ui,” the singing software will go on sale on May 30 JST.

Known widely for her breakthrough single “Shukusei!! Loli Kami Requiem,” which has garnered over 116 million views worldwide, fans will now be able to create their own songs with Ui.

Pre-orders have opened for the product’s physical edition — which is available in both standard and (limited quantity) special editions — and will run until February 17 JST. The 13,200 yen (~US83.85) standard edition includes:

A card with the Ui song voice license code that is designed to look like an Ui Academy middle school student ID

A booklet that looks like a student notebook

An Ui sticker sheet

Two profile cards (Ui’s self-introduction and unfilled designs)

Reversible jacket

Sleeve case

VoiSona Ui stems from a collaboration between Shigure Ui, who also designed the character representing the product, and the boutique creative agency INCOLORE. The VoiSona singing software itself is developed by Techno-speech, which provides the following description for its creation:

“The name VoiSona combines the words ‘Voice’ and ‘Persona,’ which contains meanings of ‘personality’ and ‘enchantment,’ to present the message that this software enables users to express a variety of personalities through voice. The goal of VoiSona is to create a circular community that supports both voice providers and creators.”
