The series was originally published in France by Kana in 2021. Three volumes have been released so far.

Kana describes the main synopsis of Silence as:
A young boy named Saber and his village were cut off from the rest of the world for decades, communicating only with sign language to avoid being detected by the monsters. When a young woman named Lune arrives in the village with a plan for humans to fight the monsters by becoming monsters themselves, everything changes for Saber and his people. The villagers leave everything behind to traverse the mountains that surround them and search for other surviving humans. In order to escape a life devoid of peace, they need to summon something they have long forgotten — the courage to live.
