Ayato Miyoshi‘s “historical, Chinese-style BL” manga A Howl of the Heart (Sennenki sue ni Hoeru Koi) is now available in English on Square Enix‘s Manga UP! Global.

Amid war, Tenyoh and Uru are more than comrades-in-arms—they’re as close as brothers, or perhaps a pair of mated birds. Living and fighting among their country’s elite troops, they share a deep bond of love. But fate suddenly tears them apart when Uru is killed behind enemy lines, leaving Tenyoh with nothing but a kiss and a promise to live on. The series began serialization on the Japanese version of Manga UP! last January. Its first tankoubon volume was published in June 2024 under the Gangan Comics BLiss label.
A Howl of the Heart is the second Gangan Comics BLiss title to come to Manga UP! Global, following Rinteku‘s Love in the Palm of His Hand in May 2024.
