Voice actress Ayumi Mano has been revealed as the latest cast member joining the upcoming TV anime series The Catcher in the Ballpark! The anime is set to premiere in Japan in 2025.
Mano will be voicing Natsuno Yamada, who strides to become a beer vendor in the ballpark, but ends up working at a bento shop inside the stadium instead.

She joins a voice cast that so far includes:
- • Fairouz Ai as Ruriko
- • Satoshi Inomata as Murata
- • Ikumi Hasegawa as Aona
- • Satoshi Tanaka as Omatsu
- • Yoji Ueda as Nakaizumi
Junichi Kitamura (Fluffy Paradise) is directing the anime, with Shigeru Murakoshi (I Parry Everything) as series screenwriter, Fumio Ida (Yadamon, Basquash! co-character designer) as character designer, and MONACA (Protocol: Rain) as music composer. EMT Squared is in charge of the animation production.
The original sports comedy manga series by Tatsuro Suga was first launched on September 3, 2020 in Kodansha’s Morning magazine and has released 15 volumes as of November 2024.

The Catcher in the Ballpark! centers on an office worker named Murata, who meets Ruriko, a gyaru vendor selling beer to the crowd. Despite becoming her first regular customer, Ruriko still acts cold towards Murata, but her innocent personality shows up whenever he’s away.
