Animator Weilin Zhang, who storyboarded and unit directed (among other contributions) the raw and unforgettable opening animation of 2023’s Tengoku-Daimakyo, has announced that they are working on an indie manga and animation.
The manga is titled I’ll of you! and is debuting sometime between February and March of 2025. The animation is not only related to I’ll of you! but will serve as the conclusion to its story.
Zhang didn’t reveal what the manga is about, but they described its animated ending as a “superpower action animation indie film.”
Zhang also released a lively gif of the main character, Clair.
Zhang previously uploaded a short manga in 2020.
Between the premiere of Tengoku-Daimakyo and I’ll of you!‘s announcement, Zhang had key animation credits on The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3’s opening and Episode 17 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
