Kadokawa has revealed a new main key visual for the upcoming Unnamed Memory Season 2, which showcases the lead characters Oscar and Tinasha with two other main characters. The second season is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 7, 2025.
The new visual highlights two magical orbs, accompanied by the four main characters Oscar, Tinasha, Miralys, and Valt.
The first season of Unnamed Memory was originally supposed to premiere in 2023, but was delayed and aired for 12 episodes from April 9, 2024 to June 24, 2024.
Kazuya Miura is directing the anime series, with Deko Akao as series screenwriter, Chika Nomi as character designer, and Akito Matsuda as music composer. ENGI is handling the animation production.

The anime is based on the fantasy light novel series written by Kuji Furumiya and illustrated by chibi. The series began as a web novel series on Shosetsuka ni Naro on September 18, 2012, before being published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko imprint from January 17, 2019 to April 17, 2021. Six volumes were released in total. A manga adaptation by Naoki Koshimizu was launched in September 2020. Yen Press licensed the light novels and manga series for release in English.
A sequel series titled Unnamed Memory: After the End was released on February 17, 2022. Four volumes have been released as of April 2024, with a fifth volume set for release on January 17, 2025.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of Unnamed Memory worldwide, and will do so again for the second season, describing it as:
After traveling to the past to save a young Tinasha, Oscar finds himself living in an alternate timeline. While visiting the kingdom of Tuldarr, he discovers Tinasha lying in a deep slumber beneath the castle. As he approaches, she awakens, and they meet for the first time once again.
