The opening movie for hololive VTuber Nekomata Okayu‘s Okayu nyumu! visual novel has been released on her YouTube channel. 

The opening song is the Okayu-sung “Mata, Okaeri.” SHIMADA contributed to the music video sections of the opening movie as storyboard artist, unit director, character designer, animation supervisor, key animator, and animation director. Roly and Syamo are credited for the opening movie.

Additionally, the gallery section on the Okayu nyumu! website was updated with a number of CGs, and it was announced that a special Okayu PR Card for the official hololive card game will be included with the visual novel’s special editions.

Okayu nyumu! is coming out in Japan on February 27, 2025 JST for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Windows 10 and 11). The premise of the romance visual novel sees the protagonist cohabitating with the homeless Okayu after encountering her one day. Okayu’s hololive GAMERS’ genmate Inugami Korone is also a character in the game.

Developer ENTERGRAM previously made the Minato Aqua-starring AQUARIUM.
