The MF Ghost TV anime adaptation isn’t pumping its breaks yet, as a third season has been announced.
A teaser trailer and teaser visual were also released.
The second season had its premiere in October. The first season aired during the Fall 2023 anime season. Both are streamed on Crunchyroll and Ani-One Asia ULTRA.
MF Ghost is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Initial D‘s Shuuichi Shigeno, which takes place in the 2020s of Initial D‘s world. The story follows Kanata Rivington, a graduate of a British racing school, who returns to Japan to participate in the popular MFG race and find his father.
The manga began serialization in Weekly Young Magazine in 2017 and has 21 tankoubon volumes as of October 2024.
