A teaser trailer for Hell’s Paradise Season 2 reveals that the anime sequel will premiere in January 2026.

Crunchyroll announced that it will stream it exclusively.

Like the first season, the staff of the MAPPA production includes Kaori Makita (Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather) as director, Akira Kindaichi (I’m Quitting Heroing scriptwriter) as series composer, Koji Hisaki (Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather co-main animator) as character designer, and Yoshiaki Dewa (Call of the Night) as music composer.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Yuuji Kaku that ran from 2018 to 2021 on Shonen Jump+. Viz Media describes the manga, which it publishes as Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, as:

Gabimaru the Hollow is one of the most vicious assassins ever to come out of the ninja village of Iwagakure. He’s ruthlessly efficient, but a betrayal results in him being handed a death sentence. He has only one hope—in order to earn his freedom, he must travel to a long-hidden island and recover an elixir that will make the shogun immortal. Failure is not an option. On this island, heaven and hell are just a hair’s breadth away.

The first season ran from April to June 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming the show outside Japan. The manga is collected into 13 tankoubon volumes.
