The Yandere Dark Elf anime has received a teaser trailer and key visual. Its April 2025 premiere window, as well as staff and cast members, were also revealed.
Toshikatsu Tokoro (Plus-Sized Elf) is directing at Elias with Yuki Takabayashi (Plus-Sized Elf) as series composer and Kazuhiko Tamura (RIN-NE) as character designer. The cast includes:
• Minami Takahashi as Mariabelle
• Rie Kawamura as Hinata Sunohara
• Kyoka Maruyama as Sakura Mochida
• Ayumi Mano as Mei
• Hinako Takahashi as Cecile
Yandere Dark Elf is based on the Takeshobo-published manga by Nakanosora, which is serialized on Web Comic Gamma Plus. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as:
Sunohara Hinata thought defeating the evil overlord and returning to high school in Japan marked the end of his otherworldly adventures. But when Mariabell, his first and most fervent ally from the magical realm, follows him home, his daily life takes a fantastical turn. The anime is part of WWWave Corporation‘s Deregula label, with the name being inspired by the word “deregulation.”
