Remow has announced that the Tasokare Hotel TV anime series will begin streaming early online starting January 3, 2025 at 11:30 PM JST (6:30 AM PST / 9:30 AM EST), ahead of its broadcast on Japanese television on January 8, 2025.
Tasokare Hotel will debut on several streaming services such as Prime Video, The It’s Anime YouTube Channel, Tubi, Plex App, Anime Onegai, TVING, bilibili, and Anime Key in over 100 countries and territories. The streaming schedule for the series may vary by platform.
The supernatural mystery anime series is inspired by SEEC’s original mobile game, which was originally released in December 2017.
Kosuke Kuremizu is directing the anime series, with Yuko Hariba (“Change Our MIRAI” character designer, Kaguya-sama: Love is War co-chief animation director) as character designer and costume designer, Yo Tsuji (Miss Hokusai) and sugarbeans as music composers. PRA is handling the animation production.
The returning voice cast reprising their original roles from the game include:

- • Kodai Sakai as Atori Haruto
- • Yusuke Shirai as Masaki Osoto
- • Kanehira Yamamoto as Hotel Manager
- • Yuki Nagano as Ruri
- • Natsue Sasamoto as Menow

A remake of the game titled Tasokare Hotel Re:newal launched on mobile on December 13, 2022 and was later released on Steam in January 2024. A sequel called Tasokare Hotel: Tsubomi was announced in December 2023.
It’s Anime describes the main premise of Tasokare Hotel as:
“TASOKARE HOTEL” is a hotel that is engulfed in twilight all day long, with no distinction between day and night. It exists as a place between life and death, where souls unable to decide whether to move on to the afterlife or return to the present world can rest their wings.
The protagonist, Neko Tsukahara, wanders into “TASOKARE HOTEL” without remembering who she is or why she’s there. Guided by the hotel staff, she is led to her room.
While searching for a way to return to the present world and remembering who she is, she encounters a certain incident…
