Farmagia Reveals 2nd New Trailer Spotlighting Sokoninaru’s Ending Theme featured image

A second new PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Farmagia TV anime series, spotlighting the series’ main ending theme song. The anime will begin broadcasting in Japan on January 10, 2025. 

The new trailer spotlights the anime’s main ending theme “miss-dystopia” by Japanese three-piece rock band sokoninaru. Meanwhile, the main opening theme is “Life is Beautiful” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation

Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail director) is credited as chief director for the anime series, with Akihiko Sano (Fairy Tail 2014 and 2018 co-character designer, Shaman King Flowers Episode 7 storyboard artist and director et al.) as director, Toshizo Nemoto (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3) as series screenwriter, Toshiomi Izumi (Shaman King 2021 Episode 17 character design cooperation) as character designer, and Shuhei Mutsuki (Spy x Family) as music composer. Bridge is in charge of the animation production for the series.

Other staff include Satoshi Mutsuda as monster designer and Masanori Nishiyama (Ippon Again!) as art director.

The Farmagia monster farming RPG was developed by Marvelous Inc. and features original character designs by Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima. It was released worldwide on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam on November 1, 2024. A Switch-exclusive Collector’s Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition were released, alongside the game’s standard physical and digital editions.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime adaptation worldwide, as it airs in Japan. It describes the main synopsis as: 

In Felicidad, farmers known as the Farmagia raise monsters under the peaceful rule of the Magus Diluculum. After the Magus passes, a power struggle erupts among forces using monsters to seize control. In the town of Centvelt, Farmagia Ten and his friends band together against the despotic new ruler, Glaza. Ten, his friends, and their home-grown monsters must stay strong to defend their freedom.
