A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe Arc TV anime series, which features the latest opening theme “Meramera” by Japanese boy band Kis-My-Ft2. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 11, 2025.
Taku Yamada (Dropkick on My Devil X) is directing Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ, with Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Battle Game in 5 Seconds) and Hiroyuki Saita (Revue Starlight) as character designers, Shun Menjo (Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ seasons 1-2) and Takahito Onishi (My Happy Marriage) as screenwriters, and Hijiri Kuwano as music composer. CLAMP is credited with the original character designs.
Kinema Citrus, Gift Animation, and STUDIO JEMI are in charge of the animation production after handling previous “D Series” installments.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast from previous seasons include:

The series’ first season premiered in Japan from January 13, 2024 to April 20, 2024. A second season aired from July 6, 2024 to October 12, 2024. Each season ran for 13 episodes. The “Deluxe Arc” will be the eighth season of the “D Series” anime, which has been airing for nine seasons. A rebroadcast is scheduled from October through December of this year.
Before the D series titles, there were several Cardfight!! Vanguard anime series such as 2011’s Cardfight!! Vanguard, 2014’s Cardfight!! Vanguard G, and 2018’s Cardfight!! Vanguard Prime. The anime is part of Bushiroad‘s Cardfight!! Vanguard multimedia trading card game franchise, which began in 2011.
Crunchyroll has streamed previous entries of the franchise, and is also streaming Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ worldwide, excluding Japan, China, North Korea, and South Korea.

One day, a youth named Akina Myodo from Kanazawa of Kaga obtains a mysterious card after experiencing a vision of planet Cray. That card is proof that he has been chosen as the Fated One of Miracles, and an invitation to the “Fated Clash”, where the last one standing can have their wish granted.
