hololive’s Fuwawa and Mococo Abyssguard — aka FUWAMOCO — have been recognized as VTuber of the Year at the VTuber Awards 2024.
FUWAMOCO, who joined hololive English in 2023 as part of the Advent group, competed for the title against Ironmouse, Vedal987, Dokibird, and Tsukino Mito.
The twin Demonic Guard Dogs retweeted the announcement of their win with the caption, “BAUBAUBAUー！！🐾✨Thank you so much, Ruffians!! We’ll do a quick stream tomorrow to celebrate together!🩵🩷”

The VTuber Awards 2024’s finalists were chosen by VTuber Filian based on “thousands on submissions… regardless of audience size, language, genre, or gender.” The winners were decided by public vote.
Filian co-hosted the awards with fellow Vtuber Shylily at the WePlay Esports Arena Los Angeles. This is the second VTuber Awards, after the debut of the annual event last year.
