Shortly after the airing of its final episode, a second season of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction TV anime series has been announced. A visual featuring the main heroines in cosplay was released and more information will be announced later on the anime’s official website and Twitter account.
A total of 24 episodes consisting of two cours aired as part of the first season from July 5, 2024 to December 13, 2024.
Hideki Okamoto (Konohana Kitan, Manaria Friends) erected the first season, with Takao Yoshioka (Horimiya) as series screenwriter, Tomoyuki Shitaya (The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess) as character designer, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) as music composer. J.C.STAFF handled the animation production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

The anime adaptation is streaming worldwide, outside Japan, on HIDIVE and Bilibili.
The show is based on the cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ since June 15, 2019 and has released 21 tankobon volumes as of October 2024, with a 22nd volume set for release on January 4, 2025.
A mobile game titled 2.5 Dimensional Seduction: Angels on Stage was launched on September 3, 2024 in Japan and released on Steam the following month.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction manga series in English, describing the synopsis as:
“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
