Two new character visuals have been unveiled for the upcoming second season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You TV anime series, which spotlights the new characters, Kurumi Haraga and Iku Suto. Season two is expected to begin broadcasting on January 12, 2025.
The returning production staff from season one includes Hikaru Sato as director, Takashi Aoshima as series screenwriter, Akane Yano as character designer and chief animation director, Mika Nishiyama as sub-character designer and co-costume designer, and Tsumugi Maeda (Prima Doll Episode 1 guest character designer) as co-costume designer. Bibury Animation Studios is handling the animation production.

The anime is based on the romantic comedy harem manga written by Rikito Nakamura and drawn by Yukiko Nozawa, which began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump on December 26, 2019 and has released 19 tankobon volumes as of September 2024. A 20th volume is expected to be released on December 18, 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga series in English.
Season 1 of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You premiered in October 2023 and ended in December 2023. It is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll will also stream the second season and describes the synopsis of season one as:
Rentaro Aijo was rejected 100 times in middle school. He visits a shrine and prays for better luck in high school. The God of Love appears and promises that he’ll soon meet 100 people he’s destined to date. But there’s a catch — once destiny introduces someone to him, the two must happily love each other. If they don’t, they’ll die. What will befall Rentaro and his 100 girlfriends in high school?
