The upcoming Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- interactive anime movie has received a trailer.

On the movie’s content, the anime’s X account says that it will contain 48 routes, 16 new songs, and 7 endings. Previously, it was revealed that the outcome of the film’s rap battles would be decided by audience vote, and a new announcement states that this will be done through the CtrlMovie app.

The Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- movie is set to open in Japan on February 21, 2025 JST. It’ll feature the Buster Bros!!!, MAD TRIGGER CREW, Fling Posse, Matenro, Dotsuitare Hompo, Bad Ass Temple, and Kotonohatou groups. 

The Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- multimedia project from EVIL LINE RECORDS began in 2017 and includes character CDs, live performances, manga, and a mobile game. The anime series Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima premiered in 2020, and its sequel Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima+ premiered in October 2024.

Legendary rap group The Dirty Dawg could have taken Japan by storm, but then they broke up. Now each member fights in one of the four rival groups. Battles for turf are fought with rap and the Hypnosis Mic, a microphone that can affect the human spirit.
