A new commemorative visual has been unveiled for the Assassination Classroom TV anime series in celebration of its 10th anniversary, as well as three upcoming new projects. The 47-episode series aired two total series, with season one airing in 2015 and season two in 2016.

The first anniversary project will be a rebroadcast of all 47 episodes on Fuji TV in Japan, beginning in April 2025. The other two projects will be announced at a later date.
Seiji Kishi (Classroom of the Elite) directed both anime seasons, with Makoto Uezu (Yuki Yuna is a Hero) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Kazuaki Morita (Tsuki ga Kirei) as character designer, and Naoki Sato (Stand by Me Doraemon) as music composer. Lerche was the animation production company for the series.
Besides the anime adaptation, the series has inspired the Koro Sensei Quest manga and anime spinoff, two live-action films, and three video games.
Yusei Matsui’s original manga series ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2, 2012 to March 25, 2016. A total of 21 tankobon volumes were released, with VIZ Media releasing the manga in English.

Crunchyroll is streaming the Assassination Classroom anime and describes the premise as:
Forget about homework and pop quizzes. The students of Class 3E have a far more important assignment: kill their teacher before the end of the year! A tentacle-d sensei that moves at Mach 20 is out to conquer the classroom after destroying seventy percent of the moon. In addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic, the murderous monster behind the lectern will teach his students everything he knows about the assassination game. Should some eager beaver prove to be a quick study in killing, he or she will save Earth from extinction – and collect a hefty reward.
