A new main PV trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! TV anime series, which previews the series’ main opening and ending themes. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 10, 2025.
The anime’s main opening theme is “Palette Days” by Rico Sasaki and the ending theme is “Yummy Yummy” by Kaede Higuchi and Kanae.
Toru Kita (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) is directing the anime, with Aya Yoshinaga (Project Arms) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Madoka Hirayama (I Don’t Like You At All, Big Brother!!) as character designer and chief animation director. Zero-G is the animation production company for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Yusuke Kobayashi as Kazuhiro Kitase/Kazuhiho
- • Kaede Hondo as Marie/Mariabelle
- • Yumi Uchiyama as Wridra
- • Rico Sasaki as Mewi
The anime adaptation is based on the light novel series written by Makishima Suzuki and illustrated by Shimo Aono, which was first published by Hobby Japan on August 25, 2018 and has released nine volumes as of October 2023. The most recent volumes, starting from volume six, have been published as digital ebooks.
The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2017 and have also inspired a manga adaptation by Yappen in 2018.

J-Novel Club licenses the Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! light novels and manga for release in English. It describes the main synopsis as:
