Master thief Arsène Lupin III is returning to the big screen in 2025 with the tentatively titled Lupin the IIIrd the Movie.
The teaser trailer ends with the words, “You have yet to know the real Lupin III.”
The new movie is directed by Takeshi Koike, the director of titles like Redline, Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen’s Gravestone, Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon’s Blood Spray, and Lupin the IIIrd: Fujiko’s Lie. Other staff credits for the Telecom Animation Film production include:

The voice cast includes Kanichi Kurita as Lupin the IIIrd, Akio Ootsuka as Daisuke Jigen, Daisuke Namikawa as Goemon Ishikawa, Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine, and Koichi Yamadera as Zenigata.
The Lupin III franchise began in 1967 with a manga created by the late Monkey Punch. The first anime series adaptation began airing in 1971. There have been multiple other manga series and anime entries, with the latter including films, OVAs, crossovers, and a 3DCG movie. One of the earliest Lupin III anime films was the Hayao Miyazaki-directed The Castle of Cagliostro.
