A final new key visual has been unveiled for season two of the Arcane animated series, which features many of the main characters showcased in the last act. Season two was streamed on Netflix in three acts throughout November 2024, starting on November 9, November 16, and November 23.

It was also reported earlier this week that several spinoff series are in the works, focused on other areas of the League of Legends universe in Noxus, Demacia, and Ionia.
Christian Linke and Alex Yee serve as creators for Arcane. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord co-directed several episodes of the series.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast for the second season stars:
- • Hailee Steinfeld as Vi
- • Ella Purnell as Jinx
- • Katie Leung as Caitlyn
- • Reed Shannon as Ekko
- • Amirah Vann as Sevika
- • Toks Olagundoye as Mel Medarda
- • Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger
- • Ellen Thomas as Ambessa
- • Brett Tucker as Singed
Season one of Arcane contained nine episodes released across three parts in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. GKIDS acquired the home video and digital rights of the first season.
The animated series is part of the overall League of Legends universe. Fortiche Productions is handling the animation production for the series, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023, but was delayed.

The second season has been nominated for “Best Adaptation” at this year’s The Game Awards. It won in the same category at last year’s awards. The show was also awarded “Outstanding Animated Program” at the Primetime Emmy Awards and honored at the Annie Awards.
Netflix describes the main synopsis of Arcane as:
Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.
