The Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You anime has received its second trailer, which reveals the opening song “Make It Count” by INI and the show’s January 9 JST (effectively January 10 at 1:28 AM JST) premiere date.
Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You is based on the manga by Haruka Mitsui, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi in 2020 and has nine tankoubon volumes as of August 2024. Kodansha USA describes the manga as:
Love in the time of COVID-19? This new series pits the the crushes, nostalgia, and friendship of shojo manga against a crushing pandemic. Can it be that a determined high school girl is more resilient than anyone expected? Guaranteed to delight fans of popular romance comics like Komi Can’t Communicate and Skip and Loafer.
