A new key visual has been released for the ongoing second season of Arcane, highlighting the main characters of the series’ second act. Season two has been streaming on Netflix in three acts throughout November 2024, starting on November 9, November 16, and November 23.

The second season of Arcane has been nominated for “Best Adaptation” at this year’s The Game Awards. It won in the same category at last year’s awards. The show was also awarded “Outstanding Animated Program” at the Primetime Emmy Awards and honored at the Annie Awards.

The first season of Arcane consisted of nine episodes released across three parts in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. GKIDS acquired the home video and digital rights of the first season. The animated series is part of the overall League of Legends universe.
Fortiche Productions is handling the animation production for the series, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023, but was delayed.
Christian Linke and Alex Yee serve as creators for the animated series. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord co-directed several episodes of the series.
