January 2025’s Mahoutsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~ has received a trailer.

Aside from familiar faces, the Mahoutsukai Precure! sequel’s trailer also previews a mysterious green-and-pink-haired girl and a villainous-looking man with a dog.

Mahoutsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~ is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 11 JST (effectively January 12 at 2 AM JST). The original Mahoutsukai Precure! debuted in 2016 as the 13th title in the Pretty Cure magical girl franchise and had 50 episodes. The sequel will have 12 episodes.

IMDb describes Mahoutsukai Precure! as:

One day, Mirai was in the park when a witch, Riko falls off her broom and together with Mofurun- Mirai’s talking teddy bear, they became Precure to fight stop the villains/ monsters called Yokubal while collecting remaining Linkle Stones.

News of a Mahoutsukai Precure!! follow-up was announced in 2023 alongside the Yes! Precure 5 and Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! sequel Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~. These two titles are meant for now-adult Precure fans.
