The Laid-Back Camp anime will continue for a fourth season. An illustration from the manga’s creator Afro was released with the announcement.
More details about the new season will be announced later.
The first three Laid-Back Camp seasons premiered in 2018, 2021, and 2024. There is also a 2022 anime movie that follows the adult versions of the cast and a 2020 anime adaptation of the Room Camp spin-off.
For the main entries, Yoshiaki Kyogoku (Yatagarasu) served as director at C-Station until Laid–Back Camp Movie. Season 3 was directed by Shin Tosaka (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars) at Eight Bit.
The Houbunsha-published manga that inspired the anime began in 2015 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of March 2024. The manga was first serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward but is now in the COMIC FUZ app.
Yen Press describes the manga as:
Rin enjoys camping by the lakeshore, Mt. Fuji in view. Nadeshiko rides her bike to see Mt. Fuji, too. As the two eat cup noodles together, what scenery will they behold? This series will make readers fall in love with camping!
