A new PV trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming Murder Mystery of the Dead TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan on November 13, 2024.
The trailer also previews the anime’s main opening theme “Kyozo,” performed by VTuber idol project Mixstgirls.
Tomohiro Ishii is directing the anime series, with novelist/game writer Giguru Akiguchi (The Murder at Cthulhu Manor game designer, Hachigatsu no Time Machine co-game writer) as series screenwriter and Teren Mikami (There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… author) as scriptwriter. Akiguchi and Hideki Morikawa (My Darling is a Time Traveler author, Hachigatsu no Time Machine co-game writer) are credited with the drafts.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

The anime adaptation is based on the 2021 murder mystery party board game, developed by Cosaic and Group SNE.
The original party game was developed for 7-8 players. The main story takes place in a shopping mall after a zombie pandemic has led to the collapse of civilization.
