The first trailer for the Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty anime adaptation has been released, with the first look at the show’s direction and CG music performances also revealing its April 2025 premiere window. The anime has also gotten a teaser visual, plus details about the staff and cast.
Shinya Watada (The Idolmaster Million Live!, Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE) is directing Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty at BN Pictures with Ori Yasukawa (Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister Episode 1 director) as assistant director. Yasufumi Soejima (Ensemble Stars! series director) is involved as visual director.
Among the other revealed staff credits are Shogo Yasukawa (Quality Assurance in Another World) as series composer and Risa Miyadani (Wonderful Precure the Movie: Dokidoki Game no Sekai de Daibouken) as character designer.
For the cast, Akira Sekine is voicing Ririsa Suzunomiya while Miyuri Shimabukuro is voicing Otoha Kurogane.
Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty is based on the Hakusensha-published manga by Hiroshi Fukuda, which began its serialization in Young Animal in October 2022 and will release its sixth tankoubon volume on November 28, 2024 JST. The story takes place at a rigid school for ladies, where a group of students come together to form a rock band.
