The Case Book of Arne, a 2D mystery-adventure game with a vampire detective as one of the protagonists, is receiving an anime adaptation.
The Case Book of Arne follows the vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and the vampire-loving, noble-born Lynn Reinweiß. The two cross paths one night when Lynn enters the non-human city of Lügenberg after witnessing a murder and being targeted by the killer.
Haru Murasaki developed the game, which originally debuted in 2017 on the Game Magazine website with a serialized format. It came to Steam in 2020.
The game also inspired a KADOKAWA-published manga that has been collected into four tankoubon volumes.
