Tapas Entertainment has announced the English release of the new webcomic series Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, which will launch exclusively on the Tapas service on November 11, 2024. New chapters of the series will be released weekly soon afterwards.
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok serves as a sequel to Solo Leveling and comes ahead of the anime’s upcoming second season, which will premiere in January 2025. A compilation film titled Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- will be released in Japan on November 29, 2024.

Anime News Network also posted an exclusive webcomic trailer on its YouTube channel.
Artist JIN (REDICE) and adaptor Brix (REDICE) launched the webcomic on August 1, 2024 based on Daul‘s original story on Kakao Page, which was first published on April 10, 2023.
The original Solo Leveling Korean web novel was written by Chugong and illustrated by the late Dubu (Redice Studio). A webtoon drawn by the latter came afterwards. H-Goon is credited with adapting Solo Leveling in the later volumes of the webtoon’s Japanese publication.
Tapas describes the main synopsis of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok as:
The storyline follows Sung Suho, son of the legendary Sung Jinwoo, as he faces a new and terrifying threat in the aftermath of the death of one of the creators of the multiverse, the Absolute Ones. With a dangerous power vacuum now destabilizing reality, gates once again open to release fearsome monsters into Earth’s dimension. Suho, now tasked with saving the world, must conquer the perilous shadow dungeon and confront his father’s powerful legacy in this action-packed continuation.
The anime’s first season ran for 12 episodes and aired from January 7, 2024 to March 31, 2024. Crunchyroll will stream the second season, and describes the first season as:
It’s been over a decade since the sudden appearance of the “gates”—the paths that connect our world with a different dimension. Since then, certain humans have awakened to supernatural powers. We call these individuals “hunters.” Hunters make their living by using their powers to conquer dungeons inside the gates. In this world of tough customers, the low-ranked hunter Jinwoo Sung is known as “the weakest hunter of all mankind.”
One day, Jinwoo gets fatally injured when he runs into high-rank double dungeons hidden within a low-rank dungeon. Just then, a mysterious quest window appears in front of him.
On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to accept the quest and starts leveling up… while the others aren’t.
