The Edens Zero action RPG that was announced during TGS 2020 has gotten an “announcement trailer” as part of the recent Xbox Partner Preview, revealing some combat gameplay and a 2025 launch date for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The trailer’s description says that the Konami title will allow Edens Zero fans to “Relive the story of the manga, and explore an open-world planet as you adventure across the Sakura Cosmos.”
The Xbox store page, which has some screenshots that preview the environments and visual character customization, adds that the game will offer a “diverse cast of characters,” and an adventure that spans “different planets.” It has also received “thorough input” from Edens Zero (and also Fairy Tail and Rave Master) creator Hiro Mashima.
On the subject of non-mobile RPGs based on a Hiro Mashima manga, Gust’s Fairy Tail 2 is getting released this December for Steam, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Anime Trending had the chance to play the game’s first four chapters and will publish our impressions of the preview soon.
