The Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsura Sugiru anime has received its second trailer, providing new footage of the romantic comedy before its January 2025 premiere.

It was also announced that Yamato Kinjo, Miyuri Shimabukuro, Risa Tsumugi, and Yuko Gibu are joining the cast as side characters.

Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsura Sugiru is based on the manga by Egumi Sora, which began serialization on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch in 2020 and has eight tankoubon volumes as of February 2024. It follows Teruaki Nakamura, a transfer student who has trouble understanding the Okinawan dialect of his crush, Hina Kyan. Their classmate, Kana Higa, serves as an interpreter for Teruaki.
