A new character PV trailer has been released for the upcoming Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II TV anime series, spotlighting LLENN’s best friend, Fukaziroh. The second season is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 4, 2024.
Some staff from the first season are returning for the second season. Masayuki Sakoi is directing the second season, with Yosuke Kuroda as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Yoshio Kozakai as character designer. Studio 3Hz was credited for the animation production, although it was announced in June that the studio had transferred its planning and production business to A-1 Pictures.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Kino’s Journey author Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The series, which is published under ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki Bunko label, was launched on December 10, 2014 and has released 13 volumes as of March 2023. The light novels have also inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Tadachi Tamori in 2015.

In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.” Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
