Milan Records has announced the release of the original soundtrack for the Uzumaki TV anime series on several musical streaming platforms.
The 13-track soundtrack is composed by Grammy award-winning saxophonist and musician Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu).

Milan Records also announced that the soundtrack will be pressed on 180-gram black and white spiral picture disc vinyl and adorned in a single pocket jacket, featuring custom artwork illustrated by Junji Ito himself specifically for the release. The vinyl album can be pre-ordered here.
The series’ original score is noted for Stetson’s singular technique that “manifests itself in loping, serpentine saxophone melodies” and features sustained notes repeating and looping that create a “hypnotic soundbed.”
Various tracks also include “distorted layers of woodwinds and strings” featuring contributions from musician Matt Combs.
The full tracklist of the soundtrack is listed below:
- 1. Uzumaki
- 2. Join me in the spiral
- 3. The eye follows the pattern

The anime adaptation of Junji Ito’s horror manga began airing with English subtitles on Adult Swim on September 29, 2024. Four episodes are slated to be released, with the final one scheduled to broadcast on October 20, 2024. An English dub of the series will also air on Adult Swim.
Warner Bros. Discovery describes the synopsis of Uzumaki as:
“Let’s leave this town together,” asks Shuichi Saito, a former classmate of Kirie Goshima, a high school girl who was born and grew up in Kurouzu-cho. Everything from a strange whirlwind, billowing smoke from the crematorium, and the residents is turning into spirals. People’s eyes spin in whirls, a tongue spirals, and the bodies twist unnaturally. In an attempt to escape the curse of the spirals, Kirie decides to flee from Kuouzu-cho, but can she get away from this turmoil?
