A collaboration poster illustration for the recently released CG animated movie Transformers One, drawn by Gridman Universe character designer Masaru Sakamoto, has been unveiled.
The illustration depicts Orion Pax (Optimus Prime), D-16 (Megatron), Elita-1, and B-127 (Bumblebee) in dynamic action poses. Sakamoto expressed his great liking for the film and his desire for everyone to watch it in a quote retweet.
Transformers One was released in Japan on September 20 JST. The prequel film focuses on the early friendship between Optimus Prime and Megatron, the well-known leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons, respectively.
Earlier this month, a TRIGGER-produced Transformers 40th anniversary short, storyboarded and directed by Gridman Universe director Akira Amemiya, was released.
