The official Twitter account of Shogakukan’s Sho-Comi shojo manga magazine announced late last week that VIZ Media has licensed one of its newest series, Magical Girl Dandelion, for release in English on its VIZ Manga app.
The title will be available in many English-speaking territories. VIZ most recently confirmed to Anime News Network last week that the manga will be released as a simulpub title sometime early this coming October.

Original creator Kaeru Mizuho posted a celebratory illustration featuring the two main characters to celebrate its English release on the VIZ Manga service.
The manga series was first launched by Mizuho in Sho-Comi on August 20, 2024. In Japan, it is also known under the title Mahou Shojou Dandelion.
Mizuho previously released a one-shot titled Ryuujin-sama wa Nakenai on October 1, 2023 in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service.
Magical Girl Dandelion is described as a fantasy and action story that centers on a teenage girl who, since she was very young, has had a powerful monster protect her from the shadows. One day, she is summoned to become a magical girl and destined to fight evil creatures that threaten humanity. However, the creatures are quite similar to her loyal companion and the monster can’t stop the urge to continue protecting her.
