The Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror compilation film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on November 29 JST. A trailer and key visual have also been released.

Comic Natalie reports that the movie’s theatrical run to last for three week, and that it will be screened at 30 locations nationwide.

The Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror TV anime aired during the Summer 2023 anime season.  It is a fantasy spin-off of the Love Live! Sunshine!! school idol anime. Crunchyroll describes the premise as:

This young fortune teller is desperate to escape her dreary small-town life. With dreams of making it big as a singer in Tokyo, Yohane finally makes the move. Unfortunately, she fails every audition and is forced to move back to her rural seaside home. But little does she know that it’s here where she embarks on a magical journey to discover the song within herself.

Yohane the Parhelion began with a series of illustrations in 2020. A KADOKAWA-published, Kouta Matsuda-illustrated manga titled Genjitsu no Yohane -Unpolarized Reflexion- began serialization in 2022. The spin-off has also inspired a 2D metroidvania and a roguelike deckbuilder.
