A TV anime adaptation of Ko Nikaido‘s With You and the Rain (Ame to Kimi to) manga has been announced with a 2025 premiere date.
A promotional visual for the anime and a commemorative illustration by Nikaido were also released.

With You and the Rain has been serialized in Kodansha’s Young Magazine since August 2020 and will release its seventh tankoubon volume on September 5, 2024 JST. Kodansha USA describes the premise as:
If it looks like a dog and acts like a dog and insists it’s a dog, it’s…a dog? Probably? She adopted it anyway, and her life with this “dog” will never be boring!
