TMS Entertainment has announced that it will screen the North American premiere of Case Closed: The Bride of Halloween at this year’s Anime NYC on August 24, 2024. The 25th anime film of the long-running mystery series will be screened in Panel Room 1 starting at 4:30 PM EST.
The company will also be hosting a Case Closed stamp rally at Anime NYC, where fans can earn an anime-themed Japanese uchiwa fan (while supplies last).

They will need to collect the stamps on a premium stamp card at three different booths throughout the con. The stamp card can be collected at the Crunchyroll booth first, where fans will receive their first stamp. They can then continue on to the VIZ booth to get a second stamp, and collect their third stamp and prize at the Anime NYC merch store.
A mega-sized Uchiwa fan will be given to the first challenger to finish the race.
Case Closed: The Bride of Halloween first premiered in Japanese theaters on April 15, 2022. It follows 2021’s Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet, which also received a North American premiere at Anime NYC last year.

The film is based on Gosho Aoyama’s mystery manga Detective Conan began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday on January 5, 1994 and has released 105 tankobon volumes as of April 2024. VIZ Media releases the manga in English under the title Case Closed.
The manga has inspired a long-running TV anime adaptation that began airing in 1996, and has inspired 27 anime feature films as of 2024.

Shinichi Kudo is a high school detective. One day, suspicious men in black forcefully give him a strange poison and his body shrank to the time of when he was in the first grade! Hiding his identity, he made a new name for himself: Conan Edogawa. Conan now lives with his childhood friend Ran Mori and her detective father in hopes of hunting down the Black Organization while being involved in cases. He faces numerous difficult cases and goes against a notorious thief but keeps on solving mysteries to find the one and only truth!
