The Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon TV anime adaptation has received its first key visual and main staff details, as well as the reveal of one of its lead voice actors.
Hiroyuki Oshima (Black Butler: Public School Arc Episode 2 and Stardust Telepath Episode 10 storyboard artist) is directing the anime, which is a Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ co-production. Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of the Rust Mountains) is the series composer, Nanako Tatsu (Date A Live V assistant character designer) the character designer, and Arisa Okehazama (The Apothecary Diaries co-composer) the music composer.
The new voice cast reveal for Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon is Shogo Sakata, who is voicing main male character Saito Hojo.
Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta is based on the romantic comedy light novels written by Seiju Amano and illustrated by Nanami Narumi. The premise of the MF Bunko J series sees Saito being married to his classmate and worst enemy, Akane Sakuramori (Hinaki Yano). The light novels started in December 2020 and has eight volumes as of November 2023.
There is also a manga adaptation by Mosukonbu and the original online voiced manga on YouTube. Narumi and Mosukonbu both have original character designer credits for the anime.
Update: Clarified that the online manga is the originator of the franchise.
