hololive VTuber Sakura Miko has released an anime music video for the song “Ikenie.”

Miko is credited for the scenario, which sees the Mikodanye mascot forcibly taking over her channel. The reference-filled video is storyboarded and directed by Yu Aoki (Tribe Nine director) with Jarrett Martin (Magical Destroyers Episode 3 co-animation director) as unit director and one of the producers and DELF as character designer. Tonari Animation handled the animation production, with asurafilm credited with production cooperation.

Aside from Mikodanye, the “Ikenie” music video also has appearances from the mascot representations of Miko’s fans, Mikopi, as well as hololive members like Oozora Subaru and Shirakami Fubuki.

The “Ikenie” song will be released via streaming on August 2 at 12 AM JST. It will also be included in Miko’s upcoming first album, flower rhapsody, which launches on September 25 JST.

Yashikin handled the song’s lyrics, music, and arrangement, while maimie is credited for the chorus.
