Upcoming romance anime Honey Lemon Soda has received its first trailer, along with a key visual and main cast details.

Kana Ichinose is voicing the heroine of the show, Uka Ishimori, while Shogo Yano voices main male character Kai Miura.

Honey Lemon Soda is slated for a January 2025 premiere. The anime is based on the manga by Mayu Murata, which began serialization in Shueisha’s RIBON in 2015 and has 25 main tankoubon volumes as of April 2024. Yen Press describes the plot as:

Uka Ishimori has one dream in life: to have fun in high school! As a self-avowed dense, stone-faced introvert who spent all of middle school hardening her heart against a daily barrage of bullying, breaking out of her shell is easier said than done. Luckily, she’s not alone—Kai Miura, a classmate whose blond hair reminds her of the lemon soda he so enjoys, has her back. Step by step, she endeavors to cast off the shadows of her past and reinvigorate her life!
