The Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san TV anime adaptation has received a teaser trailer, teaser visual, and January 2025 premiere window.
The show’s main cast and staff were also revealed. Ajiado is producing with Tetsuya Takeuchi (Yuri Seijin Naoko-san, Lycoris Recoil Episode 4 storyboard artist and director) as director, Haruka Matsunae (Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 3 co-character designer) as character designer, and Shingo Irie (Afterlost) as series composer. Kazuhiko Inoue is voicing protagonist Kenzaburo Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old civil servant, while M.A.O voices otome game villainess Grace Auvergne, whom Kenzaburo reincarnates into.
The Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san manga is drawn by Michiro Ueyama and published by Shonengahosha. It began serialization in Monthly Youngking Ours GH in March 2020 and has six tankoubon volumes as of January 2024.
