A new Cute High Earth Defense Club anime film has been announced to premiere in Japan in Winter 2025, which will be titled Cute High Earth Defense Club ETERNAL LOVE!.
An announcement PV trailer for the new film and 10th anniversary visual for the series were also released.
The first season of Cute High Earth Defense Club first premiered in 2015, with Diomedéa handling the animation production. It was followed by two more seasons: LOVE! LOVE! in 2016 and HAPPY KISS! In 2018. Each season contained 12 episodes and the series has 26 episodes overall. Studio Comet was the animation production for the latter two seasons.

An OVA titled Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! was released in 2017.
The anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Kazutomi Yamamoto as Yumoto Hakone
- • Kotaro Nishiyama as Atsushi Kinugawa
- • Mugihito as Wombat
- • Toshiki Masuda as Ryu Zaō
- • Yuichiro Umehara as En Yufuin
- • Yusuke Shirai as Io Naruko
The series also inspired a light novel in January 2015, a manga adaptation that was released from 2014 to 2015, and a mobile video game in February 2015.

Cute High Earth Defense Club was streamed on Funimation and is now available on Crunchyroll. The former describes the synopsis as:
Teenage boys are notoriously lazy, and the members of Binan High School’s Earth Defense Club are no exception. Their definition of “earth defense” is bumming around all day at the local bathhouse. But when a pink wombat appears out of thin air and begs the boys to help him save the planet, even the idlest high schoolers jump to action. Watch the magical boys transform and save the earth with the power of LOVE!
